Description

These eggless chocolate chip cookies are chewy, crisp-edged, and packed with melty chocolate chips—perfect for those avoiding eggs due to allergies or dietary choices. Made with yogurt as a natural binder, they offer the same delicious texture and flavor as traditional cookies, all without eggs.


Ingredients

  • 1¾ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • ¼ cup white sugar
  • ¼ cup plain, unsweetened yogurt
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ¾ cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a baking tray with parchment paper.

  2. In a bowl, whisk flour, baking soda, cornstarch, and salt.

  3. In another bowl, cream butter, brown sugar, and white sugar until fluffy.

  4. Mix in yogurt and vanilla extract, then gradually combine with dry ingredients.

  5. Fold in chocolate chips, scoop dough onto tray, press gently, and bake for 10–12 minutes. Cool before serving

Notes

Chill dough for 30 minutes before baking for less spreading and more flavor.
