Description

This cool, creamy sour cream and chive dip is a summer staple—fresh, tangy, and full of bright herb flavor. It’s quick to make, irresistibly scoopable, and perfect for pairing with chips, veggies, or savory snacks.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 16 oz (2 cups) full-fat sour cream
  • ¼ cup fresh chives, finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • ½ tsp fine sea salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. Finely chop chives and parsley.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine sour cream, herbs, garlic powder, onion powder, and lemon juice.
  3. Stir gently until fully mixed.
  4. Add salt and pepper, stir again, and adjust seasoning to taste.
  5. Cover and chill for at least 1 hour before serving.

Notes

Use full-fat sour cream and fresh herbs for the best flavor. Chill thoroughly to allow flavors to meld.
